20100130--ur hygienist will gladly check ur nose for stray boogers, if u ask. Trying to stop using the word GOD. Believe there was a Gee-sus roaming around long ago with a following which is not unlike fellas (ie: Mafia) of today; both good and bad gangs/followers of leaders (Jim Jones vs MLK) both good/bad. Their machinations are also chronicled in tabloids and books in English and other languages which are open to interpretation as those writings of long ago. Need to p/u fat elbows and granola. Dentist again; if a hygienist sees a cavity, will it be acknowledged without the doctor coming to verify and charging $40 for that look/see that took 1.5 minutes tops? 60/1.5=40 x $40 = $1600 per hour. Folks, we r in the wrong biz.

I Feel So Disconnected.........(sniff,sniff)

Woke up this AM to find that my internet service had been discontinued. Knowing that most issues have to be dealt with, at least, twice, I thought this was a leftover from last month’s problem which caused my internet service to be discontinued. Last month, it seems, my internet service provider changed banks for collecting on-going member premiums. I have had mine taken from my Discover card for 3 years. After many phone calls to various numbers and being on hold, that problem was rectified on 12/28/09 according to Laurie, my ever efficient customer service rep.

Fast forward to today. Once again that horrid sign popped up informing me that I could not go on living using my usual daily habits because I was, once again, disconnected from interacting with the outside world. Arghhh and damn!!!

A big storm passed by last night and I was privy to a beautiful sight as I drove out of my complex. Mingus Mountain was more than dusted with snow and the remaining clouds hung low here and there allowing the peaks to *peek* thru. I was bundled in coat, socks, hat and shoes appropriate for the weather. The hat hid the pillowhead do from last night and off I went to the local office. Blah, blah and yada, yada with the problem to the poor employee, I used their phone to call technical service for help with the problem. Turns out I am a minor felon and the disconnect was due to my pirating ways. Over a month ago I found a chap in England sharing illegal ways of downloading movies. I fell into it; downloaded the 2 programs instructed by this fella and proceeded to follow his explicit directions. I picked *The Blind Side*. Long story short, it downloaded a *torrent” file and that was a far as I got. Well, Warner Bros pays people to look for these files and finds the internet service provider who ALLOWED this copyright infringement. They notify the ISP and, BOOM….exile from the outside world. I feel so dirty!!!

I was to go home, find the file and delete it. Then I had to call the ISP telling them I have complied with the instructions and was read the legalese they are required to pass on. The completion of the tasks happened at noon and I was told I would be back to civilization in 2 to 24 hrs………24HRS…..shyte. Withdrawal has set in and I was forced to play FreeCell and cook something. It is now 4pm and *poop*…nothing yet just this blurb for my blog. So….beware of downloading….Warner Bros is awake/on guard and should be monitoring the net for terrorists. They sure are good at it.

One more thing. The customer service rep at the ISP from the AM did not smirk when I told her it was my fault. I just said "this pirate is going home to get rid of my bounty".
