Woke up this AM to find that my internet service had been discontinued. Knowing that most issues have to be dealt with, at least, twice, I thought this was a leftover from last month’s problem which caused my internet service to be discontinued. Last month, it seems, my internet service provider changed banks for collecting on-going member premiums. I have had mine taken from my Discover card for 3 years. After many phone calls to various numbers and being on hold, that problem was rectified on
Fast forward to today. Once again that horrid sign popped up informing me that I could not go on living using my usual daily habits because I was, once again, disconnected from interacting with the outside world. Arghhh and damn!!!
A big storm passed by last night and I was privy to a beautiful sight as I drove out of my complex. Mingus Mountain was more than dusted with snow and the remaining clouds hung low here and there allowing the peaks to *peek* thru. I was bundled in coat, socks, hat and shoes appropriate for the weather. The hat hid the pillowhead do from last night and off I went to the local office. One more thing. The customer service rep at the ISP from the AM did not smirk when I told her it was my fault. I just said "this pirate is going home to get rid of my bounty".
